Membership Meetings:
The San Diego Professional Tour Guide Association holds regular meetings each month which feature guest speakers from the local San Diego tourism industry. Meetings are typically held at the Downtown Information Center in Horton Plaza, above the CVS Pharmacy, unless indicated otherwise. An easy way to find the center is to park on the Avocado level (4), enter the mall, and turn right. The business portion of the meeting typically runs from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by our guest speaker for the month.

Familiarization (FAM) Tours:
The San Diego Professional Tour Guide Association offers regular familiarization (FAM) tours to our members, which are an invaluable resource for helping our member guides become experts in the San Diego region.
A minimum $2 administrative fee will be charged for all FAM tours. This fee will be used towards any admission and or tips, and any extra monies will go back to the association.
Guests are welcome on select tours, however, additional charges may apply, and we also prefer that all guests are employed in the tourism industry. Mixers and Social Outings:
