  • Invitation to attend our monthly meetings, which are typically held at the Downtown Business Center in Horton Plaza. Special guest speakers from the local San Diego tourism industry are featured as a part of each meeting, which is another prime learning opportunity for our association guides

Membership Fees:

Annual Fees: $50 individual members, $75 business members. No charge for honorary members.  

Membership term is from January to December of each year. Discounts for early renewal and for new members are available, as well as pro-rated discounts for those who sign up later in the year.

Certification Test Fee:

$20 per person.

Our certification testing is typically offered twice a year, spring/summer and fall/winter. Current non-certified members will have the opportunity to become certified. Prospective guides must be members of the association for at least 6 months to participate in our certification testing program. This is also an optional refresher opportunity for current certified members.
